Box.net – Director of Product Marketing October 2006 to Present
∙ Duties initially included managing ad platforms such as Adwords, MSN and Yahoo, search engine optimization, website analytics, affiliate program and email marketing. I have since focused more on feature usage, product and competitive research.
Marketing initiatives include:
-Box vs. SharePoint Challenge: Designed a campaign to align Box.net to our largest competitor, Microsoft SharePoint. The challenge involves users trying Box.net for 14 days, and if unhappy, they get our competitor free for 3 months. I contacted affiliates of SharePoint to provide this 3 months, so the campaign cost nothing. The challenge has been very effective online and at enterprise conferences.

- April Fools fake product launch noted by Rolling Stones write-up
-iPhone app – Apple Top 100 application and featured on iTunes home directory
